Nelson City Council commissioned me to make some sort of hammocks to attract youth to linger in our city centre. After a few iterations we agreed on a design and I built three of them for the turfed area on upper Trafalgar St.

The response to these Hammock Loungers has been phenomenal. People use them daily and due to their bright presence they become a well-known meeting place for youth and others.
